Willows offers Radioactive Iodine (RAI) treatment for hyperthyroidism in cats. This is currently considered the best treatment for this disorder.
There are four different types of treatment for hyperthyroidism including:
Medications and diet do not cure this condition, and so lifelong administration/feeding is needed. Surgery can cure hyperthyroidism but this can be associated with complications.
